Day by day I watch you
You’re so happy in your life
As I sit there,
I begin to think
Of all the times we shared
The good and the bad
Time stood still then,
The stars stopped twinkling
The moon stopped moving
And the fireflies froze
And I looked at you,
Frozen like ice,
Smiling, having the time of your life
I walk over to you
And I whisper into your ear,
I’ll love you forever
Then I walked away,
And time came back to life,
Crying as I walked away from you;
Life seemed to still be the same,
